The issue of Nurdles pollution is very important to us, and a very local issue. Our Environmental Study Team researched and produced a documentary about Nurdles found in and around Mayfield Lake, which leads into Lake Sacandaga. Lake Sacandaga, as you know runs into the Hudson, which, of course, runs south to the Atlantic Ocean. Left behind by the Coleco Toy Company which had a facility in Amsterdam, NY, these tiny pieces of plastic make their way from Amsterdam down into the Atlantic, causing Environmental damage along the way.
