About the Event
**PLEASE NOTE LOCATIONS BELOW**
Week-long experiential film workshop covering all aspects of filmmaking:
-Writing for short narrative and documentary
-Camera basics, framing and composition
-How to light a scene and record audio
-Video editing tips (Please note that this will not be a full "How to use a program" workshop, rather how to make editing decisions within the program you choose to use)
Participants will work in groups to create a short narrative film and a short documentary.
Open to all teens 13-17
(limited to 15)
Location of the field school is split between the Library and Central Park this year:
Monday July 8th - Meeting at the Central Park Pavilion
Tuesday July 9th - McChesney Room at the Schenectady Public Library
Wednesday July 10th - Central Park Pavilion
Thursday July 11th - McChesney Room at the Schenectady Public Library
Friday July 12th - McChesney Room at the Schenectady Public Library
Cost: $250 for the week (possible scholarships available)
