ECOLOGY - Scotia-Glenville Summer Teen Field School

Open to Scotia-Glenville youth ages 12-16 years old.

Using professionally developed resources, reference materials and testing equipment, participants will learn to utilize the methods and techniques necessary to conduct an ongoing stream monitoring and environmental conservation projects in accordance with accepted environmental science field research standards. 

Focusing primarily on the ecology of the Mohawk River and it’s tributaries, youth will assess the physical, chemical, and biological properties of healthy freshwater streams, rivers, lakes and ponds and ground water.

Fee for the week is $100 per student, with potential scholorships available.
